Trusted Reviews reports the manufacturer's latest 52-inch LCD TV builds on the company's reputation for technological performance and adds a little of the style of its predecessors.
In the review, John Archer notes the 52W4500 is equipped with full 1080p high definition (HD) technology and the Sony Bravia 2 engine, which allows it to come "mighty close to being a bona fide big-screen superstar".
He adds that the screen also features a cut-away see-through window at the base of the bezel and this is "an old Sony design favourite".
Colour, noise reduction, contrast and fine detailing all benefit from the Bravia system and Mr Archer adds that 100Hz Motionflow allows blur to be reduced, making images appear "more fluid as well as crisper and clearer".
Other models in the Sony range include the 46-inch KDL46W4000U. This panel is also equipped with full 1080p HD and Bravia technology.
