Two of the world’s most-decorated boxers will eventually meet for a face-off atop the ring in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 28, 2008. This time, it will be for a WBC Lightweight Champion belt that already adorns America’s “dangerous” south paw, David Ruiz. The Philippines’ Manny Pacquiao, with an equally illustrious career in boxing, will challenge Ruiz; Ruiz better not take the challenge lightly as the Filipino boxer has shown time and again, his fists can end boxing careers within a few rounds.
Boxing enthusiasts on the internet have written blogs and posted comments on message boards regarding the fight, and this apparent hype is just too good to be true; most users who wish to bring in fun and excitement in their emails would find it trendy to send in smiley icons of two boxers who fit the label perfectly.
There are numerous websites that cater to emoticons and smileys, but only few deliver free smileys or animated emoticons that are as vibrant as those that represent events, such as American Idol, Father’s Day Celebration, Independence Day, and now the WBC Lightweight bout.
