Former AFL star Andrew McLeod will take the field for the Thunder tomorrow evening.
Also joining the team is local Alice Springs player Louie Egger, who was best afield in last weekend's central league grand final.
The AFL is paying for flights and accommodation for the Canberra team and the Territory government is doing the same for the Thunder.
Andy Hood from the Central AFL is hoping for a big crowd at Traeger Park.

Mr Hood says the match would have been played interstate had the Territory government not agreed to cover costs.

Entry to tomorrow night's football match between the Northern Territory Thunder and Canberra-based Ainslie in Alice Springs will be free.
McLeod signed a contract to play six games for the club this year, after retiring from the Adelaide Crows AFL team last year.
"So they really were keen to give it free admission to ensure everybody comes to the game and supports the NT Thunder."
