TAM Linhas Aereas will launch Sabre Airline Solutions’ new AirVision Commercial Intelligence solution designed to gather critical pricing and revenue information so airlines can quickly respond to competitive marketplace activity.
TAM will begin using Commercial Intelligence in the first quarter of next year and is expected drive higher passenger revenues and load factors.
The Sao Paulo, Brazil-based carrier will leverage Sabre’s Commercial Intelligence solution as a business decision support application designed to integrate key performance indicators into graphical views, allowing for quicker inter-departmental coordination, and faster, succinct responses to competitive actions.
The new solution builds on Sabre Airline Solutions great history of bringing new and innovative commercial planning tools to the market that help our airline customers drive revenue, efficiencies and value. Commercial Intelligence compiles information from other leading Sabre AirVision Solutions including, Pricing, Revenue Management, Scheduling, Cargo, Revenue Accounting, Revenue Integrity and Market Intelligence, along with internal airline sources to assist the airline to best position itself with competitors and marketplace dynamics.
“The airline industry has one of the fastest changing marketplaces and it can be challenging to keep up with various competitive fare activities and travel demand,” said Darren Rickey, vice president, Sabre AirVision. “Sabre has worked with our customers to develop a solution that compiles important information in a quick and easy-to-follow format so airlines can make game-changing decisions for their business.”
