Family incest in real life is illegal, immoral and can be devastating to the people who are involved in it. For example, in Australia all family incest porn, real or pretend, is deemed Refused Classification (RC) and banned. This is surprising, considering that Australia is one of the more progressive countries in the world.

What really brought family incest porn to the forefront of the porn industry (and peoples minds) was the Taboo series. Starring Kay Parker as a mature mom whose husband just left her, the movie features a ton of popular porn actors and actresses. Ron Jeremy and Brooke West, for example, made lengthy appearances in the film. Ron Jeremy appeared in the first sequel, as well.

The Taboo movies feature family incest as a main plot line, showing Kay Parker having sex with an actor pretending to be her son, Paul. In addition to having sex with Paul, Parker had an affair with another man, which her son did not know about in the film. 21 other Taboo movies soon followed, many of which won awards within the adult industry for acting, direction, marketing and screenplay writing.

Besides the family incest shown in the original Taboo movies, a new brand has been launched under the Taboo, American Style title. The premise is much the same, with more American actors and themes being used to depict family incest. Other movies have been released with family incest as the main focus, but so far none have been as popular as Taboo.
