Family Incest and Other Genres of Pornography

There are many different sub genres of pornography and they are categorized in a large variety of ways. The sub genres can be divided by physical characteristics of the participants, various fetishes, sexual orientation, and specific types of sexual acts. It is also possible for one type of porno to include multiple sub genres in it. The two major categories and distinctions in pornography are softcore porn and hardcore porn. Softcore porn films usually show naked or women with some clothing on posing in very sexually alluring ways for men. However, this genre of porn never depicts any type of sexual intercourse or penetration. Hardcore porn is all about depicting very graphic sexual activity. Most genres of pornography fall under this category while there are not many variations of softcore on the market.

Physical characteristics of the participants in pornography are one of the most common categories within the genre of hardcore porn. There are six major classifications under this heading: mature, MILF, teen pornography, child pornography, lolicon and shotacon. Mature is any type of pornography that showcases adult film actors in their forties or fifties, but in some cases also in their sixties. MILF, which stands for Mothers Id Like to Fuck, feature older women in fantasy scenarios with men that are much younger. Teen and Child pornography are exactly what they sound like; sexual adult films that involve young children or teenagers. Teen porn is typically referred to as barely legal because it involves actors from age 18 to their early twenties; those who are just over the legal age to give consent. These films usually depict themes that focus around youth, inexperience, innocence and curiosity in a very provocative way. Sometimes these films can include topics like family incest or other socially taboo subjects. Child pornography includes actors who are under the age of legal consent. This sub genre can very often deal with the sexual abuse of children, including family incest. The production, possession and distribution of any type of child pornography are illegal just about everywhere.

Lolicon and Shotacon are the least known of all the sub genres and are not used nearly as much as some of the others. Lolicon pornography features drawings or animated images of female children or anything that appears to be children. Shotacon pornography is the counterpart of lolicon, but it deals with male children as opposed to female ones. Although there are many taboo topics like family incest that arise in pornography, it still remains to be an industry that has an enormous following.
