The easiest forms of natural energy to harness are wind and solar power. As time passes, there may be even more sources that can be harnessed for energy production.
1. Using Wind Power
Wind devices like windmills can be built or bought to extract energy for wind. Wind has kinetic energy that can be captured and transformed into electrical power inside the turbine. This is one of the cleanest and most cost effective ways to create alternative energy to run a home today.
2. Using Solar Power
To harness the sun's energy, you will need to install solar panels on your roof. Production of electricity from the sun, otherwise known as photo voltaic, can generate a lot of power based on the amount of roof exposure to the sun (about ten watts per square feet)
